A Prayer of Joy, My Joy is ever with you!
Joy to feel Joy… Do you remember discovering your toes, how funny they looked? How about the first time mud or sand squished up between them? It probably tickled and made you giggle. Do you remember your Joy in accomplishing something you were so proud of yourself? Feeling that exhilaration of Joy that springs up as a great geyser gushing with water high into the sky?
Joy – the Sacred tender thrill of holding your newborn baby, the welling up of True Innocent Love. Listening to babies giggles and laughter, knowing that Divine Joy is ever present.
Wandering along a snowy path seeing the beauty of the new sprouts of crocuses popping up, the first signs of Spring. Simple, joyful pleasures bring a true warmth and peace to the soul.
It’s amazing that trauma events are easier to remember and feel than the simple and profound joys of living and experiencing our lives.
It’s a conscious practice to bring focus to uplifting, joyful events. I suggest a special treat for our souls that we take time to find a simple joy and FEEL it… Record it in our Hearts and Souls.
Embrace those moments because they are the reasons for remembering and The Reasons for Living.
