[fear of loving myself headaches]
I have come to believe that the most difficult of the commandments to love GOD and love your neighbor as yourself is to truly love yourself and THEN you can love God and others. To thine own self be true, then thou cannot be false to any man. Know thyself.
I picked a peacock feather to represent healthy pride and self-love as a symbol to overcome fear of loving myself.
That could have been the cause of the migraines I had for years. They seemed like self-punishment but for what?
This is a representation of drawing self-worth and knowing you are worthy and everyone is worthy of loving and being loved.
This was so fun to draw because I didn’t have to be careful and the feather tips going out from the center were so freeing!
